Tele-Fonika Kable, in consortium with P&Q, has signed an agreement with Ocean Winds for the delivery of a key part of the onshore transmission infrastructure for the BC-Wind offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea. Our scope includes the design, production, and delivery of approximately 23 km of 275 kV EHV onshore cables, fiber optic cables, and dedicated accessories, as well as comprehensive post-installation testing of the entire line. Cable production will begin in Q4 2026 at the Bydgoszcz plant – the largest HV and EHV land cable production center within the TFKable Group, and a crucial element of Poland’s offshore supply chain.
By investing in local production and expertise, TFKable plays an active role in Poland’s energy transition. In recent years we have contributed to several key offshore projects in the Baltic Sea: Baltica 2, Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3, Baltic Power, and now BC-Wind. Together, these projects will deliver clean electricity to nearly 5.3 million Polish households, strengthening the country’s energy security and supporting the development of the domestic offshore supply chain.
