The scope of accreditation includes key tests related to the quality and reliability of cables and electrical power equipment:
- Insulation strength tests (AC, LI, SI, DC) and partial discharge measurements (AC)
- Tests of resistance to heating cycles and tightness of equipment
- Measurements of electrical parameters such as resistance (R), electrical capacitance (C) and electrical loss factor (tg δ),
- Tests of mechanical and physical properties of cable materials
- Control of the structure and dimensions of cable products.
