Tele-Fonika Kable continues to implement its strategy of developing research and development capabilities by expanding the R&D facilities at its Myślenice plant. In December 2025, the R&D Laboratory – Material Compounding and Sealing Integrity was commissioned, marking the completion of a project delivered over nearly two years with the support of the Kraków Technology Park.
The new research and development centre significantly enhances the capabilities of the Group’s production facilities in the design, testing and validation of material and structural solutions used in advanced cable systems. This investment strengthens the development of the product portfolio and increases its flexibility in response to the requirements of markets characterised by high levels of regulation and operational responsibility.
The laboratory’s activities will focus on improving components used in cables intended for offshore applications, in particular by increasing their mechanical resistance and sealing performance under demanding operating conditions. In parallel, work will be undertaken on proprietary material solutions, as well as on the development of designs dedicated to heavy industry and applications operating under continuous motion.
The laboratory will also play a key role in the systematic quality control of incoming raw materials, utilising advanced analytical techniques. The research carried out will enable the development of data sets linking material structure with the resulting mechanical performance parameters of cable products. The expansion of the R&D infrastructure in Myślenice forms part of the TFKable Group’s long-term strategy, focused on sustainable technological development, security of supply and maintaining competitiveness in international markets.
